The Made In 3.5 Quart Stainless Clad Sauté Pan is a professional 5-ply, 10.5-inch sauté pan crafted in Italy for searing, braising, pan sauces, and shallow frying. Best for home cooks and chefs who want restaurant heat control on any cooktop, including induction. Current price: $84.65, down from $199 — buy online and save 57%.
The sauté pan's wide flat base and straight, tall sides make it ideal for searing meats, shallow frying, braising, simmering sauces, and one-pan dinners. Compared to a frying pan's sloped sides, the vertical walls hold more liquid and prevent splatter — this 3.5 qt capacity handles family-sized meals.
Choose the sauté pan for liquid-heavy recipes, reductions, and braises; choose a frying pan for flipping, stir-frying, and fast sears. Serious kitchens own both — at $84.65 this is the affordable entry point to the 5-ply line.
At $84.65 versus $199 compare-at, you save $114.35 — a 57% discount on Italian-made 5-ply cookware. Use coupon EDGE10 for an extra 10% off. Free shipping on orders over $45.
Chicken piccata, braised short ribs, risotto, seared pork chops with pan sauce, shallow-fried cutlets, paella, and one-pan pasta. The straight sides and wide base handle volume and liquid better than any skillet.

Searing, braising, shallow frying, simmering sauces, and one-pan meals — the straight sides and 3.5 qt capacity hold more liquid than a frying pan.
The sauté pan's vertical sides are best for braises and sauces; a frying pan's sloped sides are best for flipping and fast sears. At $84.65, this is an affordable way to add the sauté pan first.
Yes — the 5-ply stainless clad construction and riveted stainless handle are oven safe for stovetop-to-oven recipes.

The 5-ply construction heats evenly with zero hot spots. Braised short ribs and shallow-fried chicken cutlets both came out perfect. Heats evenly, cleans up easily. Worth every penny even before the discount.
This sauté pan is beautifully made and you can feel the quality immediately. Took me a couple of uses to get my searing technique down on stainless, but now it's my go-to for chicken thighs. Wish it came with a lid at this price.
Solid, substantial pan. Italian craftsmanship shows.
I've cooked on All-Clad for twenty years and honestly this holds its own at a lower price. The straight sides make braising a dream, the handle stays cool on the stovetop, and it's stayed bright and shiny after a couple dozen uses. It went through a Deglazing-on-high-heat incident with red wine and nothing stuck permanently. My husband, who normally doesn't notice cookware, commented on how evenly it browns meat.
No complaints about quality — the 5-ply is legit and it performs well on my induction range. Just be warned it's a workout to lift when full. My wife can't manage one-handed pours at all.
Got a gorgeous crust on scallops on the first try. Cleanup was just hot water and a sponge. Buy it.
The cooking surface itself is excellent — even heating, great sear, easy cleanup. But the rivets where the handle attaches collect gunk and are awkward to scrub around. For a premium pan I expected smoother hardware. Keeping it since it cooks well, but it bugs me every time I clean it.
I finally ditched my warped nonstick sauté pan and wow, what a difference. Nothing sticks if I preheat properly and use a little oil, and I don't worry about scratching it with metal utensils. It's oven safe too, so I've been finishing frittatas and pan sauces under the broiler. My induction cooktop detects it instantly. Should have made the switch years ago.
3.5 quarts is the perfect size for family dinners. Cooks evenly, feels durable, looks professional hanging on my pot rack. Docking one star only because I wish the walls were a touch taller for shallow frying.
I waited tables through college and we used pans like this in the kitchen. Decided to treat myself at 62 and I use it every single day. Pan sauces, braises, even jam — it handles everything. My daughters are already jealous.
Made in Italy quality is obvious the moment you hold it. Even heating means my mushrooms actually brown instead of steaming. Takes a little elbow grease with Bar Keepers Friend to keep it pretty, but that's stainless life.
