I bought this expecting a niche tomato knife but it's become my daily driver for everything from crusty sourdough to sausages to citrus. The one-piece construction means no handle seams to trap gunk, and it's so light my wrist doesn't tire. Scallops are still sharp after months of use.
CROMOVA steel holds an edge well and the scalloped edge glides through tomato skins without bruising the flesh. Only knock is the handle might be slim for larger hands — my husband finds it a touch small. Otherwise a great utility knife for the price.
