Yes — the enameled cast iron body and lid are oven-safe for braising, baking bread, roasting, and slow cooking at high oven temperatures, making it a true stovetop-to-oven workhorse.
Yes. Cast iron is fully magnetic, so this Dutch oven works on gas, electric, glass-top, and induction cooktops with excellent heat retention.
The dimpled interior lid design returns condensation to your food evenly, self-basting braises, roasts, and stews so flavors stay concentrated and meats stay moist.
Hand wash with warm water, mild soap, and a soft sponge or nylon brush. Avoid steel wool, dishwashers, and thermal shock (don't put a hot pot under cold water). For stuck-on food, soak in warm soapy water first. The enamel interior resists staining and doesn't require seasoning like bare cast iron.
Braising short ribs, weekend chili, sourdough baking, soups, roasts, no-knead bread — plus game-day cooking for Huskies fans. A gifting favorite for UW alumni and students.
At $94.90 vs. $299, you save over $204 — roughly 68% off — on a branded, team-licensed enameled cast iron Dutch oven. Comparable premium French Dutch ovens retail for $300+. Apply coupon EDGE10 for an extra 10% off; orders over $45 ship free (standard shipping $8.00 below $45).

Purple and gold on my stovetop, perfect.
Made chili for game day and everyone asked where I got it. The engraved knob is a great touch and the enamel is beautiful.
I graduated from Washington in the 90s and my wife surprised me with this Dutch oven before the apple cup game. The hand-enameled finish is a deep, gorgeous purple that photographs beautifully, and the laser-engraved Huskies logo on the knob is crisp and detailed. Performance-wise it holds heat like you'd expect from quality cast iron: my pot roast braised evenly for three hours without hot spots. The 5.5 quart size handles a whole chicken or a big batch of soup for our family of four with leftovers. At under a hundred bucks versus what the French brands charge, this is honestly a steal. We get compliments every single time it's on the counter.
It's cast iron so yes, it's heavy, but that's the point. Heats evenly, cleans easily, and the purple enamel gets compliments constantly.
Functionally it braises and bakes beautifully and the logo knob is well done. Unfortunately mine arrived with a tiny chip on the rim edge. Customer service is handling it, so I'll keep it, but check yours carefully on arrival.
Honest comparison: I own a Le Creuset and this one performs just as well for a third of the sale price. The sourdough comes out with a gorgeous crust.
Got this for my dad, a lifelong Husky fan. He uses it every Sunday and texts me photos of his stews. Best gift I've given him in years.
The pot itself seems solid, but the engraved knob rattled loose after two uses and I had to tighten the hardware myself. Disappointing QC at this price point even on sale.
Took a chuck roast from hard sear to fork-tender in one pot. The enamel interior shows no staining after multiple uses.
Use it weekly for soups and no-knead bread. Retains heat wonderfully and the lid seals well. The Huskies branding makes my husband happy, which is a bonus.
This is the rare piece of fan gear that's actually a serious cooking tool. Even heat, easy cleanup, and the purple is stunning in person.
Every watch party starts with something cooked in this pot. Durable, beautiful, and it sparks great conversations with fellow alums.
