Thicker and heavier than standard boards, this block doubles as a serving centerpiece — premium maple at an affordable discount price.
Apply food-grade mineral oil or board cream regularly, letting it soak in before wiping excess. Oiling keeps the maple conditioned and prevents drying or cracking.
Hand wash with mild soap and warm water, dry immediately, and never soak or put it in the dishwasher.
No — like all quality wood boards, it is hand wash only. Dishwashing will warp and crack the maple.

Food-grade mineral oil is best — it's food safe, odorless, and won't go rancid like vegetable oils.
This maple board is gorgeous and heavy in the best way. The two-sided design means I can chop on one side and serve charcuterie on the other without cross-contamination worries. My guests always compliment it. Absolutely worth the sale price.
Best cutting board I've owned. Beautiful wood.
You can tell this was made in the USA — the grain is beautiful and the edges are finished smoothly. It's a bit heavier than my old board, so washing it is a two-hands job, but that heft means it never slides around while I'm chopping. The juice groove side works great for roasts too. Overall very happy.
The quality of the wood itself is genuinely good and the size is perfect for my counter. Unfortunately mine showed up with a small dent in one corner, probably from shipping. It doesn't affect performance, and customer service was responsive, but I expected flawless at this price point even discounted.
I've been through three cheap boards in two years and finally decided to buy something that lasts. This maple butcher block is in a different league entirely. I oil it monthly, use one side for prep and the other for serving cheese and cured meats, and it still looks nearly new. My daughter wants one for her apartment now. Should have bought this years ago.
Bought this mainly as a charcuterie board for hosting and it steals the show every time. The 17.75-inch length fits a full spread of cheese, prosciutto, and fruit. Doubling as a real cutting board is a bonus. Only wish it came with rubber feet, but I added my own.
I wanted to love this board, but mine started warping after about four weeks of normal use and hand washing. I never put it in the dishwasher and dried it standing up, so I'm disappointed. Maybe I got a bad one, but for the money I expected better stability.
Hosted Thanksgiving this year and used this for both turkey carving prep and the cheese course. Everyone asked where I got it. The maple is thick, the finish is food-safe and smooth, and it cleaned up beautifully. At the sale price it's honestly a steal compared to boutique boards that aren't half as well made.
