Global GS-69 Y-Shaped Vegetable Peeler, Stainless Steel, Satin Finish, Made by Yoshikin

I've gone through cheap peelers my whole life and they always rust or go dull within months. This Global GS-69 feels like a precision instrument by comparison. The weight is substantial, the balance is perfect, and it glides through butternut squash like it's nothing. Worth every penny even before the sale price.

It's a great peeler, no complaints about performance. That said, it's hard to shake the feeling that $45 is a lot for a vegetable peeler. The satin finish is beautiful and it's comfortable to use, but whether you need this level of quality is up to you.

Peels like a dream. Should have bought one years ago.

My wife does a lot of cooking and I surprised her with this peeler for her birthday. She says it's the nicest one she's used and likes that it doesn't have those little seams where gunk collects. It's on the heavier side but she says she got used to it in a week. Happy wife, happy life.

I switched from a straight peeler and honestly the Y-shaped design is much more ergonomic for me. Less wrist strain when doing a big pile of carrots for mirepoix. The blade is razor sharp out of the box and the stainless construction feels sanitary and easy to clean. Global quality is real. Highly recommend, especially at this sale price.

It works well and the build quality is clearly better than my old OXO. But it took me a while to adjust to the weight and the angle of the blade. Fine product, just not sure it's three times better than a $10 peeler.

The peeling action is fine but I have arthritis in my hands and the weight of this one makes it tiring to use. I wish I had checked the weight specs before buying. No fault in quality, just not right for me.
