Tramontina Tri-Ply Clad 5 Quart Stainless Steel Covered Dutch Oven with Glass Lid – Induction-Ready One-Pot Cooking

Tri-ply construction is the real deal. Sear, deglaze, braise, all in one pot. Induction ready and works on every burner in my house. The glass lid lets me monitor braises without lifting. This is the one-pot workhorse they promised.

Made beef stew the day it arrived. The sear I got on the chuck was better than my cast iron and the even heat made the braise foolproof. Cleanup was easy since nothing welded itself to the bottom. At $37 this competes with pots twice the price. Extremely happy.

Heat distribution is excellent and the 5 quart size is perfect for a family of four. My only complaint is the handles get hot on the stove, unlike some models with stay-cool designs. Oven mitts solve it. Still highly recommend.

I learned to cook on my mother's heavy French dutch oven and always assumed I'd need to spend $300 for similar quality. This Tramontina proved me wrong. The steel is thick, the rivets are solid, and it responds quickly to temperature changes. After three months of weekly use it still looks showroom new. Cannot say enough good things.

Works well and cleans easily, but it's noticeably lighter than the premium clad pot I borrowed from a friend. Feels less substantial in hand. Performance-wise it's fine, just temper your expectations if you want that tank-like heft.

The pot cooks evenly, no complaints there, but the interior developed rainbow heat tint and white spots within the first month despite following care instructions. Functional but disappointing aesthetically. The glass lid also doesn't sit perfectly flush.

Exactly what I wanted. Great pot, great price.

From October to March this pot lives on my stove. Chicken noodle, chili, minestrone, potato soup, all come out better because of the even heating. It goes from stovetop to table without embarrassment thanks to the clean design. My husband uses it for his Sunday pasta sauce and even he cleans it without being asked, which is the highest praise I can offer.
