Tramontina Signature Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel Covered Sauce Pan

Upgraded from a cheap aluminum saucepan and the difference is night and day. No more burnt spots in my sauces. The tri-ply bottom responds quickly to heat changes which makes tempering custards so much easier.

Use it almost daily for rice and reheating soup. Heats fast and evenly. Only wish it came in a slightly bigger size for family meals, but that's my fault for not reading dimensions carefully. Quality is genuinely good.

Great for two people. Easy cleanup.

Cooks well and looks professional on my pot rack. The handle does get hot on long simmers though, so keep a towel handy. Also took a few tries to learn stainless cooking after years of nonstick. Three stars for now, may improve as I learn.

This is the kind of pan that makes you want to cook. The mirror finish outside still looks new after months of use, and the pour rim is well designed with no drips. Made beurre blanc successfully on the first try, which says a lot about the heat control. Highly recommend.

Pan performs fine but developed rainbow discoloration on the interior within the first month despite following care instructions. Cleaner helped some but it's still noticeable. Expected better at this price.

Bought this for my college-age daughter who's learning to cook. She's mastered mac and cheese and now homemade tomato soup. The lid fits snugly and the pan has survived some beginner mistakes, including a brief empty preheat. Holding up great.

Even heating, comfortable handle, tight lid. What more do you need? Occasionally food sticks if I rush it, but proper preheating solves that. Good value for tri-ply.
