Tramontina Prima 16.5 in Stainless Steel Deep Roasting Pan with Basting Grill & V-Rack

Roasted a 22-pound turkey in this and it handled it beautifully. The V-rack kept the bird elevated so air circulated all around, and the skin browned evenly on every side. The basting grill made it easy to collect drippings without opening the oven constantly. Cleanup was simple too — nothing stuck to the stainless after a soak. This pan replaced my flimsy disposable roasters forever.

Great heavy-duty roaster for the price. My only gripe is that the V-rack can be a little awkward to load a big roast onto by yourself, so I set the meat in the pan first and lower the rack over it. Once it's in, it performs perfectly — even browning and fantastic pan juices for gravy.

I worked in restaurant kitchens for years and this pan is the real deal. The 18/10 stainless is thick and distributes heat evenly with zero hot spots. Seared a beef rib roast on the stovetop first, then finished it in the oven — no warping, no discoloration. The deep sides mean no grease spills on the oven floor. Worth every penny, even at full price.

Quality seems fine and the stainless construction is sturdy, but I misjudged the size and my very large holiday turkey barely fits with room for vegetables. It does what it's supposed to, just measure your oven and bird before ordering. Works well for chickens and medium roasts.

The pan itself seems well made, but the V-rack arrived with one leg bent out of shape and it rocks in the pan. Waiting on a replacement. Disappointed because I needed it for a dinner that weekend.

I've had this for about eight months now and it's become one of the most-used pieces in my kitchen. Between Sunday chickens, pot roasts, and a mountain of root vegetables under a pork loin, it has never once let me down. The deep sides hold a surprising amount of liquid, which means braises work beautifully here too. The basting grill is a thoughtful touch I didn't know I needed. My mother-in-law asked where I got it and promptly ordered one herself.
