Tramontina Gourmet Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel Fry Pan with Boston Handle

The tri-ply construction means even heating edge to edge — no hot spots scorching my sauces. Sear on chicken thighs came out with a proper golden crust. The Boston handle stays comfortable and stays cooler than expected. This pan competes with my All-Clad.

Stainless takes a bit of technique with heat and oil, but once you get it, food releases fine. Heats fast and evenly. Oven safe which I use constantly for finishing frittatas.

I use this pan for probably eighty percent of my cooking. Eggs release cleanly with a little butter, and hashes and stir fries cook evenly. Cleanup is just bar keepers friend and a soft sponge. It's held its shine through six months of daily use and goes from stovetop to oven without issue. For under twenty dollars this is a steal.

Quality is genuinely nice for the price. I just didn't pay attention to the size and it's smaller than my old pan. My fault, but check dimensions before buying.

Heated it gently with oil the very first time and still got rainbow discoloration across the cooking surface. Works fine functionally, but I bought stainless partly for looks. A bit disappointed.

Bought this to replace a warped cheap pan and the difference is huge. Tri-ply really does distribute heat better. Also love that it's induction compatible. Recommend seasoning your technique with a few egg tests before getting ambitious.
