Heavy cast iron holds heat and traps steam for bakery-quality loaves at home. The 5.5QT capacity fits standard boule recipes with room to spare.
Penn State fans, sourdough bakers, and gift shoppers who want licensed, heirloom-quality cookware at an affordable sale price.

Yes. The 5.5QT enameled cast iron traps steam for a crackly crust and even bake – it's excellent for sourdough and no-knead breads.
The hand-applied enamel is durable with normal care. Avoid thermal shock, metal utensils, and abrasive scrubbing to prevent chips.
Hand wash with warm soapy water and a soft sponge; use a baking soda soak for stains. Skip the dishwasher.
$204.10 off the $299 compare-at price, coupon EDGE10 for an extra 10%, and free shipping on orders over $45.00.

The enamel finish is gorgeous and the engraved Nittany Lion knob is such a nice touch. My loaves come out with a perfect crust every time. Worth every penny even at full price, but at $94.90 it's a steal.
Cast iron is heavy, so plan your cabinet space. Otherwise the braise I made in it was fantastic and cleanup was easy.
Bought this for my daughter who graduated from Penn State and she teared up when she saw the engraved knob. She uses it every Sunday for pot roast. Quality feels on par with the French brands at triple the price.
Looked great out of the box but I noticed a small chip in the enamel on the rim after two uses. Customer service was responsive and offered a replacement, but still disappointing at this price point.
5.5QT fits my sourdough recipe perfectly. Crust is unreal.
Solid Dutch oven once it arrived. Enamel looks hand-finished and the lid seals well. Shipping took almost a week longer than estimated, which almost ruined my gifting plans. Product itself I'd give 4.5 stars.
Forty years in professional kitchens and I know quality cast iron when I feel it. The walls are thick and even, the enamel is smooth, and the knob doesn't get too hot to handle. I've made braises, bread, even deep-fried a chicken in it. Do yourself a favor and grab the coupon.
Made chili for the Penn State game watch and everyone commented on how nice it looked on the table. Holds heat like a champ. Only wish it came in more colors.
I've baked sourdough in a cheap enameled pot for two years and the difference with this one is night and day. The lid traps steam beautifully and the base doesn't scorch. My crumbs are open and even now. My husband says my bread is better than the bakery downtown. This thing is a workhorse and I find myself reaching for it daily.
Obsessed. Logo is crisp, enamel is flawless, braises like a dream.
Purchased with the EDGE10 coupon and got an incredible deal. Cooks evenly and cleans up with minimal scrubbing. Docking one star only because the handles are a bit snug with oven mitts on.
The hand-enameled finish has some slight texture variation, which they call character but I call inconsistent. Performance is good though—nothing stuck on a short rib braise and it heated evenly on my induction cooktop.
