Made In Factory Seconds Griddle Lid – Lid for the Carbon Steel Griddle

I never realized how much I needed a lid until I got this one. Melting cheese on burgers takes half the time, and the steam helps cook thick smash patties through without flipping. It sits snugly on the Made In griddle with no wobble, and the factory-second flaw on mine was invisible to me. Smoke splatter in the kitchen has dropped noticeably too. Worth every penny at half price.

Seals in heat and moisture as advertised. The handle stays reasonably cool with a short cook but gets warm on longer sessions — keep a towel handy. Overall very pleased.

Should have come with the griddle. Works perfectly.

It fits well and traps steam nicely, but the reason it's a second is a visible scratch across the top. Doesn't affect performance at all. If you care about looks, be aware.

Use it mainly for quesadillas and patty melts — the cheese melts evenly without drying out the tortilla. The lid also cuts down on grease splatter across my stovetop. Fits the griddle like it was made for it, which, I suppose, it was. Cleanup is a quick wipe since nothing seems to stick to the underside.

Heavier and sturdier than I expected from the price. The dome height is generous so it fits over stacked sandwiches. No regrets.
