I was skeptical of ceramic non stick after bad experiences with cheap pans, but this is a different animal. The 5-ply body means no hot spots, so my béchamel comes out smooth every single time without constant whisking. Eggs slide out. Reductions don't scorch. The factory second mark was a faint scuff on the outside that nobody would ever notice. At $40 this pan punches way above its price.

I followed the care instructions — silicone utensils, no high heat, hand wash — and still got a scratch in the ceramic coating after about four weeks. The 5-ply heating is excellent, which is why this isn't a one-star, but I expected the coating to be more durable. Support offered a replacement, so credit to them.
The even heating makes risotto foolproof. Heats fast on induction and the stay-cool handle is comfortable. Would recommend to anyone who makes a lot of sauces.
