Made In Cookware 10.5" Porcelain Dinner Plates, Set of 4, White, Crafted in England

The weight and feel of these is what you'd expect from a restaurant, but the soft white glaze looks beautiful on our farmhouse table. Oven safe claim checks out too — I've warmed them at 400° with no issues. Worth every penny even at full price.

These are proper porcelain, not that thin stuff that chips when you look at it. Only reason for 4 stars is they're a bit heavier than I expected for everyday use by the kids.

Beautiful plates. Perfect size.

I waited tables for years and these remind me of the good stuff we used there. The rim height is just right for saucy dishes, they stack without scratching, and after three months of daily use there isn't a single chip or scratch. England-made porcelain in white at this price — no brainer. Used the coupon and felt like I got away with something.

Quality is genuinely lovely — smooth glaze, even color, good heft. But nearly $60 for four dinner plates is a stretch, even on sale. They do elevate a dinner party though, so I kept them.

Disappointed that one plate arrived with a chip on the rim right out of the box. The other three are gorgeous, but packing should be better for fragile porcelain at this price point. Waiting on a replacement.

My mother always said buy good plates once and you'll never need to again. She was right. These Made In plates have that old-world craftsmanship feel — the porcelain is dense, the white is a warm ivory rather than harsh bright white, and they hold heat beautifully for a proper hot dinner. My husband even commented on them, which he never does. They go from oven to table for shepherds pie and look elegant enough for guests. In our sixties we've owned a lot of dishware; this is the first set I actually love.
