Baker's Secret Oven Mitt – Thick Silicone Heat-Resistant Glove with Cotton Lining

I can hold a screaming-hot cast iron skillet for a good while without feeling any heat. The silicone grip is fantastic on slick pans, and the cotton lining makes it comfortable even for long wears. I've put it through the washing machine too and it came out fine. Buying a second one.

The reason I bought this was steam burns from lifting foil off casseroles. This mitt blocked it completely. Best kitchen purchase this year, hands down.

Heat protection is excellent and the textured silicone doesn't slip on wet or greasy handles. It is a bit bulky for delicate tasks like grabbing small ramekins, but for pulling heavy roasts and hot sheets from the oven it's superb.

No complaints on heat resistance at all. However I have small hands and this mitt is loose even though I ordered standard size. Still functional, just wish it fit more snugly.

I knocked a pot of boiling pasta water toward myself while wearing this and my hand stayed completely dry and unharmed. That alone sold me. The lining is soft and the mitt doesn't get that musty smell my old cloth ones had. Excellent product.

Worked great for the first month, but after one machine wash the cotton lining twisted inside the silicone fingers and won't sit right anymore. Protective still, just uncomfortable now. Hand wash only, I guess.

The grip on hot, heavy Dutch ovens used to scare me since my grip isn't what it was. This mitt's silicone texture holds securely with almost no squeezing effort, and the thick padding protects my sensitive hands from heat. It's also long enough to cover my wrist. Truly a thoughtful design.

Heat resistance is top notch and cleanup is as easy as rinsing it off. Only wish it came as a pair for the price. Otherwise no issues after two months of daily use.

Great mitt. Thick, grippy, comfortable, and handles steam without a problem. My old fabric mitts would soak heat through in seconds, this one never does. Highly recommend.
